Most owners know their dogs have unique personalities. My dog Tony,
for instance, was an amiable fellow with a welcoming woof and a wagging
tail, happy to be in the midst of all the action. Katie Girl, on the
other hand, was more discerning. She preferred to silently examine any
new arrivals and then retreat to a quiet space from which she could
observe.
Different attitudes, to be sure. Could it be said that one had an optimistic view of life and the other a pessimistic outlook?
